Indru Nag Temple

Bajreshwari Devi Temple

In the middle of the town of Kangra is the temple enthusiastic to Bajreshwari Devi. It is known once for its fabled wealth, this temple was apt to successive depredation by invaders from the North. Mohammed of Ghazi is known to have departed with a king’s ransom in gold, silver, and jewels in 1009. It was destroyed completely in the year 1905 by an earthquake and was rebuilt in the year 1920.

Namgyalma Stupa

It is positioned in the center and is surrounded by prayer wheels. This Buddhist stupa is remembering those Tibetans who lost their lives fighting for a free Tibet. A statue of the Sakyamuni Buddha is apotheosized in a small chamber, and all day and night, you will see devotes turn the prayer wheels as they encompass the stupa, reciting mantras.

This place was built in the remembrance of martyrs who fought for the honor of their motherland and their bravery. This place is encompassed by a pine forest of Dharamshala and endeavor you a very pleasant walk.
