By Rail

Take a dip in the hot springs

The renowned springs of Tattapani are spread over an area of nearly 1 square kilometer. This hot spring is located along the banks of the Satluj River. A large number of people come to Tattapani to take a dip in the water as they believed that this water possess medical power. It is believed that the Sulphur enriched water of these springs can cure many skin diseases and can also cure rheumatism. For those who are not comfortable with bathing in the open. Local shops have made arrangements for bathtubs or covered enclosures.

River Rafting

Tattapani is located on the banks of the Satluj River and is one of the favorite tourist spots for river rafting. River rafting courses are exhibit by HPTDC and private operators. The basic course runs for a stretch of 11 Km, while the Grade II rapids run for 14 Km. The Grade IV rapids run for 36 Km.
